Deal expands TXP’s existing cloud skills and service delivery capabilities supporting its strategy to create a UK leading digital transformation provider.

We are excited to announce an important milestone in Vigil’s ongoing journey and what this means for our valued clients.

Across the last 10 years, we’ve grown into a highly respected technology consultancy, leading in software engineering and cloud transformation and to build on this momentum and enter our next phase of growth, we’ve recognised the need for additional support.

After careful consideration, we’ve partnered with a well-suited investor, who brings both the resources and expertise required to propel our growth and whose people, strategy and values align with our own. We are pleased to announce that the TXP Group backed by Aliter Capital LLP (Aliter) has completed the acquisition of Vigil.

Vigil becomes the fourth acquisition by Aliter’s emerging group, supporting its strategy to develop a UK leading digital transformation business, delivering consulting, development and technology resourcing solutions, at pace and scale, to a diversified blue chip customer base.

Previous acquisitions by the group are Concept Resourcing (2022), a business focused on technology augmentation roles and field service engineering augmentation, Jumar (2024), a consulting, digital transformation and technology solutions business, both of whom were rebranded jointly as TXP (Technology x People) in May of this year (2025), and latterly Metatech (May 2025), a legacy modernisation specialist specifically focused on Gen modernisation. The UK, West Midlands based group currently works across the public and private sectors, providing custom software development, cloud, Data & AI and augmenting in-house IT solutions, and identifying skilled talent to support their clients’ technology and business needs.

John Antunes, CEO at TXP, shared: “Our acquisition of Vigil is an important part of our strategy to comprehensively meet the needs of our existing and future clients. Vigil’s best in class AWS skills dovetail with our existing Microsoft capabilities, meaning we can now offer customers more choice and expanded technical expertise This promises to open up a broad range of new opportunities, as we help organisations to modernise their businesses at scale and pace.”

Phil Wright, CEO at Vigil also commented: “Becoming part of TXP is a great fit as both companies are culturally very similar. We both have a sharp focus on creating solutions that are tailored to our clients’ unique requirements, helping them to transform their operations and drive innovation, and a real focus on people. We’re excited to see what the future holds as we integrate our business within TXP.”

For our customers, it’s business as usual. Your key contacts remain the same, and we are fully committed to continuing our high standards of service and support. Phil Wright and his senior management team are remaining with the business, working closely with Group CEO John Antunes, supported by Aliter’s resources and expertise to deliver ambitious growth plans.

We are thrilled to begin this new chapter with our clients, partners and team members, ensuring our services continue to evolve and meet the demands of today’s Digital Transformation landscape.
